Fancy Socks all set to fire in Text Dogs To 60006 Trophy Standard at Romford
Fancy Socks has pulled her socks up and, seems to be in great position to crush the opposition in the Text Dogs To 60006 Trophy Standard, scheduled to take place at Romford on Friday, July 13th.
The dark brindle b***h is not one of the regular winners at this track but, she was fantastic in her comeback appearance recently.
The female hound completed the order of finish in a 420 metres open race at Peterborough in late April. She got bumped in the beginning and as a result, failed to do anything special.
An embarrassing loss would have dented her confidence to a great extent but, she recovered well to present a fine show in the trials at the start of this month.
She ran superbly to cover the distance of 400 metres in just 24.31 seconds. It was such a fabulous effort that the bookmakers had no option but, to declare her favourite for an open race on Monday.
Despite having a lot of confidence under her belt, the b***h could not do well, and finished fourth on the table. Although, it was not a decent performance by any means, it is still very hard to ignore her class.
The daughter of Scarty Lad is more than capable of getting her act together within no time and, perform well against even the best in business. So, one can pin up hopes on her, expecting the b***h to put her campaign back on winning ways.
Among her rivals are: Murlens Crash, Boris Johner, Millwards Matt, Millroad Scolari and Gilbeyhall Ned. It will surely be a close contest, as there are many dangerous runners in the line-up. The £175 event will start at 22:26 (GMT).
Boris Johner often blows hot and cold. C. Allsopp’s trainee will have no chance whatsoever, if he fails to do well at the start. Murlens Crash can match any of these on the dash to first turn.
Gilbeyhall Ned also needs a fast start in order to fancy hischances of winning. This venue has proved a happy hunting ground for Millroad Scolari, but today’s race is far from easy. Millwards Matt can exploit any crowding.
Fancy Socks is running for her pride. She will have to fire in order to redeem respect that she lost following a terrible defeat on Monday. Good luck to all the runners.
