Fancy Socks clinches victory in the 400m Dotty Doris Birthday Stakes

Fancy Socks clinched victory in the 400 metres Dotty Doris Birthday Stakes Open Race at Romford on Friday, January 13, 2012. The cash prize for the triumphant hound was £175. No dog participated in this race, as it was only meant for b*****s.
There was a stiff competition between the top two b*****s, as only 0.06 seconds separated them in the end.

However, Fancy Socks had enough gas in the tank to finish on top of the table.
The winning hound had a starting price of 6 to 1, and went into the race from trap number three. She displayed very good speed and stamina to get ahead of the rest of the pack.
Fancy Socks completed the total distance in 24.32 seconds, making her trainer, R S Griffin, extremely happy.

The triumphant b***h is the daughter of Scarty Lad out of Moyar Gi Gi, born in June 2009.
The second place went to Sequential, who gave a very tough time to the race winner. She lost some momentum towards the end, completing the race distance in 24.38 seconds.

Her starting price was 6 to 4, and she had popped out from trap number two.
Sequential is trained by D.R. Pruhs, and is the daughter of Hondo Black out of Jillaine Velvet, born in October 2009.
The race favourite, Fernhill Jess, failed to make an impression and ended up at third place. She was unable to come anywhere close to the top two finishers, as she clocked a time of 24.86 seconds.
Fernhill Jess had a starting price of 1 to 1 and the bettors would have a lot of money on her victory. However, the D.J. Allen trained b***h failed to live up to the expectations in the end.

She was born in May, 2009, to Daves Mentor out of Apache Chief.
Further down the order, Cockney Diva ended up in fourth place by a head’s margin, after having started from trap number four.

She was followed by Boherna Talk, who took the fifth spot by a head’s distance. These b*****s were trained by P.W. Young and A.M.P. Collett, respectively.
The final place went to Ballyhale Enda, who was the only b***h to clock a time above 25 seconds, ending the race in 25.11. Her starting price was 16 to 1, and she is trained by G L Sharp.
Overall, the race turned out to be a good one, as there was a lot of competition seen between the b*****s. However, Fancy Socks stole the show with her express speed, and made a name for herself, expected to shine in future races.
