Fancy dress ideas? "Once upon a time" theme?

I need a costume for an event with the theme "once upon a time" so I guess I'm looking for inspiration along the lines of fairy tale characters etc.

I am 24, so preferrably something quite cute, without the outfit being S****y.

Some of the other girls are going as Little Red Riding Hood, Little Miss Muffet, and the Queen of Hearts, so don't suggest any of these please.

Only idea I've had so far is Little Bo Peep, but I don't want to be too similar to Little Miss Muffet lol

You could be the princess and the frog. You can wear your basic princess stuff, fancy dress, crown, gloves if your want.. Carry around a little stuffed toad frog thing :)

You can really be the damsel in distress if you are inclined. Take princess ideas, without the crown, but loads of bling and get an arrow broken in half (a toy one will do). You are Maid Marion waiting for Robin Hood.

A bit odd, but might work spot on.
