Fancy vegetarian restaurant in London?

Can someone recommend a nice and a restaurant in London, with a particularly good and wide vegetarian selection. Something in the £60-£100 for 2 people sort of bracket.

  2. There are so many restaurants in London that would fit the bill--whether vegetarian or just veg-friendly.

    Check out the list on VegDining.com; maybe you can ring the restaurants before going there to check if they suit your tastes.  Here's the link:

  3. One idea is the Gate in Hammersmith, which is pure vegetarian and pleasant.  If money is no object then Roussillon in Victoria has a nine course vegetarian tasting menu for £65; it is a Michelin starred restaurant, and so has serious food.

    Of course Indian is the cuisine to go for if you are vegetarian.  Try Sabras in Willesden or Kastoori in Tooting or Rasa Samudra in Charlotte Street.  If on a budget try Diwana Bhel Poori in Euston, which has great snacks and it is hard to spend £10 a head.
