Fans call for ouster of Bradley Beal after his Tweet about St. Louis Cardinals - MLB Update

Bradley Beal, a professional basketball player for the Washington Wizards, receives threats from Washington Nationals’ fans after they heard about his Tweet in which he showed his support for St. Louis Cardinals. Beal basically belongs to St. Louis and thus
is a big fan of the Cardinals.
He plays for the capital. When he expressed happiness over the defeat of the Nationals, he was criticised for being disloyal to the team he actually plays for, however in another sport.
Beal has invited the wrath of the fans that are now bent on to driving him out of the Washington Wizards, which is a basketball team in the National Basketball Association (NBA).
Beal has been forced to clarify that he did not intend to feel happy at the misery of the Nationals. Instead, he stated, he has been a fan of the Cardinals and that is why it is just natural that whenever they perform against any opposition, he will be pleased.
“That’s what made it crazy. I guess that kind of made it worse,” Beal said. “I wasn’t even watching the game. Every time I stopped watching the game, they started [coming back]. They did it last year, and they came back and won. That’s how it is.”
The Nationals have been eliminated from the post-season after the Cardinals defeated them in the last inning of the game by rallying for four runs. In the match, the Nationals were favourites before the beginning of the ninth inning. Most of the Nationals’
fans were sure that they will win but when the Cardinals turned the tables all of a sudden, they were heartbroken.
In light of this, it is easy to understand why the fans are denouncing Beal.
“I was hearing threats and everything, like, ‘Watch your back,’” Beal said. “People were like, ‘I’m not going to cheer for you.’ I was like, whatever. It was cool, though.”
Fans have perceived Beal as a person who has laughed at their misery, because they were already disheartened by the ouster of the Nationals from the season.
Beal will be looking to control the damage and make sure he wins back confidence of the Nationals’ fans.
