Question:

Fans throwing beer again?

Near the end of the race after Kahne took the lead the female reporter said that someone almost hit Kahne with a beer bottle (Trying to hit Busch, probably)...how long do you think it will be before NASCAR revokes beer drinking priviledges at the track? Busch didn't even win, obviously the fans doing this don't realize how dangerous it is, or don't care. Maybe NASCAR will step up soon enough before it get's out of hand...did anyone else hear this and what's your thoughts?

  1. I am sure it won't be much longer before the tracks say enough is enough plus they are sitting on a gold mine because then they can just sell beer at the track.  I doubt they will just stop drinking all together but I am sure they will soon say you can't bring your own.

  2. Why exactly does busch have to change?  "We dont like him". So? He's a winner your not.

  3. well its a 4.5 hour race and at the end of the time most of the fans are pretty hammered and they have no thoughts about anyone's safety. i mean think about it, if they were throwing bottles at him when he wasnt even in the lead that shows they were pretty drunk. its my only possible explanation as to why they would do that, i cant think of any other some what reasonable reason. im not taking up for them, being drunk doesnt excuse being stupid im just sayin thats probaly what caused it. also i dont think they will put a limit on buying alcohol at the tracks because they know that will cause alot of fans not to come to the race when they can sit at home and drink away.

  4. When the ''REDNECKS'' start spending the night, in the slammer?

    The B.S will stop !!

  5. Ha! Never. Too much money to be made. They would just throw something else anyway.

You don't know what is solves? How could anyone not know? It solves their frustrations and sooths their anger. I think is disgusting and trashy but I know why they do it.

Glass bottles are already banned. They throw cans and plastic bottles.

  6. Yes, these idiot fans need to quit throwing bottles, cans, just boo for gods sake, keep on all the fans will be sober in the stands, or they will have to pay mega bucks for a beer in a plastic cup..Grow up fans, you can boo and scream, quit throwing stuff..Nascar needs to do something, I'm glad when I go I'm never in the stands I'm always in the pits or on my Uncles Motorhome.

    Go Dale Jr & Hms

  7. Maybe they could fine whoever they catch throwing anything onto the track with a $500 fine.

  8. First of all I want to say that I am not a Kyle Busch or Dale Jr fan. However, I agree with you. The fans were throwing things at Busch last night after he won the Nationwide race too. It's stupid, childish, & dangerous.

I for 1 enjoy being able to take my own food & drink inside the track. However it's the idots that are throwing theirs that are going to make me pay for everything I get at the track. Because I can't see NASCAR letting it continue much longer. The only thing is that the idots can still throw their 6 dollar a bottle beer onto the track, so it's really no difference. Maybe I'll make some of the idots reimberse me for my 6 dollar bottle of dr.pepper.

But seriously, the kids throwing the stuff onto the track need to grow up. Maybe if NASCAR would catch most of those doing it & then make them wait until say 3 hours after the race & take them down onto the track & make them pick up, by hand, everything they threw. Maybe they would then get the clue.

  9. Didn't hear about it unti; just now. Thats sad that soem idiot would do that. throwing beer cans is exactly why there are now 2 HIGH chainlink fences at the Kentucky Derby infield. In 1975 A horse named Bombay Duck was hit with a beer can during the running of the Derby while he wa son the lead. Came out of that race with a huge ;lump on his hip. Now imagine soemthing like that going through a winshield and hitting a driver while they are going 150+ mph..... that would probably kill them. I agree Nascar needs to nip it in the bud before soemone gets serriously hurt. And fans need to use their dang brains and not think "hehehe I'll throw this beer can at the racer I don't like. hehehehehe maybe that'll show him no one likes him hehehe" Dumbb a** that they are they do it. Ugh stupid drunk rednecks... gotta love 'em

  10. I wish he had hit Busch. Kahne says on the radio " i dont think it was a bud though" haha

they prob wont outlaw beer in races. people will just find ways to sneak it in like at college sporting events

p.s. it was a joke, i am actually an avid Nascar watcher. sorry you took it the wrong way

  11. by michigan or pocono im tired of all these fans there hurting themselves there gonna be drinking beer from a plasic cup soon enough then lets see if they wish they like throwing things at the drivers who are risking there lives just for there entiartainment

i agree with u tell me if you agree with me

  12. I think it is horrible to throw beers at any race driver!! They are going to remove the drinking in the stands. It is just bad sports manship!!!!!!!

  13. Theu need to start putting cameras pointed through the stands and revoke their credentials to get into the race.  Those shelling out 5 to 6 hundred bucks for a couple season tickets will definitely not throw anything.

  14. when Kasey won the race I was kind of hoping he wouldn't have taken his helmet off before he got out of his car. He seemed like a very gracious winner and way too trusting when you got all the dumb fx@ks who like to throw their garbage at the drivers. If I was at the track and saw people  doing that, it would probably wanna make me wanna punk one of the punks

  15. I am not a Busch fan, but I am tired of the throwing. When I go to Kansas Speedway in Sept., I hope they are selling their beer in plastic cups. Enough is enough.
