Fans vote Paris Saint-Germain as the best buyers of the summer transfer window
With this summer’s transfer window finished, a survey was conducted by the French media in terms of which clubs made the best signings this summer.
Paris Saint-Germain were the biggest movers in the transfer window with the Parisian club spending no less than 85 million Euros on bringing nine new players to the Parc des Princes. With the Ligue 1 clubs spending nearly 181 million Euros on new recruits,
a poll was conducted in France in order to find out which clubs fans though did the best business this summer.
Paris Saint-Germain
According to fans, Paris Saint-Germain turned out to be the best buyers out there in this summer’s transfer window in France. Surprisingly, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alou-Diarra-c5259, Nicolas
N’Koulou, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Diego-c11058 Lugano and Jeremy Morel.
Paris Saint-Germain won 35% of the votes following their spending spree thanks to the larger than life resources of new owners from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Javier-Pastore-c18082.
However, Les Parisiens did not make just one signing.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Leonardo-c22056 made some calculated decisions by signing players
for only those positions that turned out to be the reason behind PSG’s shortcomings last season.
Olympique Lyonnais
Unlike the transfer windows of yesteryears, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Olympique-Lyonnais-c40130 stayed ultra quiet throughout the summer transfer window and made just three signings. Furthermore, Les Gones were so patient in their dealings that they waited until the final days of the window
to bring in the likes of Bakary Koné, Fofana and Mouhamadou ..... Dabo.
Though Lyon spent just five million Euros on new players, fans seem to think that Les Gones were tactful in their approach and have brought in three young players who will have a big role to play in Lyon’s resurrection to the top level of French football.
With 17% of the votes going their way, Les Gones come second.
LOSC Lille
Lille lost http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Dimitri-Payet-c11276 was signed from AS Saint-Etienne
as a replacement for Gervinho while 21-year-old Ronny Rodelin was signed from Nantes.
With the club set to feature in the UEFA Champions League apart from competing in three domestic competitions, Rudi Garcia has done extremely well in keeping a great balance in his side while also bringing in fresh faces as Lille await a long and tedious
season.
With spending wisely in the transfer market and further improving the depth in the squad, Rudi Garcia’s Lille came third in the rankings after receiving 12% votes from fans.
Stade Rennais
Another club that made some really nice moves this summer was Stade Rennais. The Bretons brought in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Burkina-Faso-c2862 winger has been a treat to watch and has scored one goal in two games.
