Question:

Fantasy 2008: Which WR should I draft?

Of course I'd love to have Moss on my team, but I'm looking for WR's that will demonstrate value considering the average round they are drafted. (I'm in a 12 team PPR league that starts two WR's & a flex)

Who is on your radar & why?

  1. look for someone under-rated like plaxico burress(12td's last year) and maybe someone like lee evans or lavernius coles, who both had down seasons last year. i expect them to step up this year.

  2. For PPR, don't forget about Wes Welker.

Otherwise, my top 5 are Reggie Wayne, Housh, Braylon Edwards, R. Moss and Marques Colston -- all 5 are playing with QB's they're used to, with good to very good protection (except maybe Edwards but it didn't slow him down last year)

I'd mention Burress but way too many issues, injury and otherwise.

  3. Anthony Gonzalaz and Lee Evans

  4. terrell owens, simply cuz he can score, go deep and his my fav player

  5. Brandon Marshall of the denver broncos. He will be a solid pick. He had 1,325 yards, 7 TDs, 13 20+ yard plays, and he is cutlers new favorite target. Now that denver is starting to rebuild that offense he can be a big star. He shouldn't be drafted until like the 5-6th round of the draft, or even later. Another good option for a late rounder is Dwayne Bowe of the Chiefs. He is young but late in the year got very hot. He is now a favorite target in the chiefs offense. He had about 1000 yards reciving last year, but could have a breakout year with the rebuilding chiefs. Finally one of the best value recivers is going to be Greg Jennings of Green Bay. He had 920 yards and 12 TDs while missing three games with an injury. He could have been well over 1000 yards and 15 scores. So pick him up fast. So I recommend picking brandon marshall, dwayne bowe, and greg jennings for three recivers of value, after randy moss and TO go.

  6. Keep an eye on value in rounds 4-6.  Players who had sub-par seasons last year yet are elite players:  S. Smith, S. Moss etc.

  7. Reggie Williams is pretty decent and Javon Walker is being drafted quite low due to his injury last year.
