I am currently in 6th and am looking to make a 2nd half push. Any help would be appreciated.

It looks like you've been bitten hard by the injury bug, losing Soriano, Zimmerman, and Carmona. Those players should give you a boost when they return.

Your IF with the exception of 3B looks good and Zimmerman should help there. Your OF could use some tweaking even when Soriano comes back. You could try to sell high on Lohse and package him with one of your OFers for a star. You may also want to consider upgrading at C.

You've got SPs to spare so don't be afraid to deal them for a bat.

As someone noted you missed Bruce but check your FAs to see if Chase Headley is available. H'es 3B eligible now and will soon be OF eligible. He's got a decent stick.

idk how u can improve the team w/o trades unless there's another jay bruce out there, but my only advise is to somehow win either all pitching or all the offensive categories that way u win atleast half the stuff every week.

offensively your team looks like it needs some help. you seem to have alot of starting pitchers.....in my opinion to better balance your roster try to trade for a good hitter who can help out utley, ordonez, and markakis cause if you're going with just that i dont think its enough to make a big run by the end of the season. look at dealing either bedard, matsuzaka, or carmona once he comes off the DL and maybe package them with another player in order to help bolster your lineup. YOU NEED HITTING!!!!

Don't listen to anyone who says U have 2 much SPs...

I've won several of these things,and I think U need more SPs,and less offencive bench DEAD WEIGHT....

Now don't start dumping players.Offer trade packages,(2 inferior players for 1 superior player.) And target proven players that are not hot.(Buy low,sell high.)

Like--Cano+Willingham for I.Kinsler

And/or--Fukudome+Beltre for A.Ramirez

You need less,but better offencive players.Fill your empty roster spots with SPs/closers..This will up your Ks,Ws,saves,

and the increased innings WILL lower your era+whip,,do the math~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Good Luck!
