I got 3 offers that are quite interesting. Tell me what you think.

(I am looking for HRs, RBIs and runs in my head to head baseball league)

Trade 1: I give: Hunter Pence for Fernando Tatis

Trade 2: I give: Tulowitzki and Chamberlain for Miguel Tejada and Rickie Weeks

Trade 3: I give: Tulowitzki and Chamberlain for Miguel Tejada and Chris Young

Who gets the better deal out of the trades? Any advice is appreciated!

  1. Trade 1- I believe Hunter Pence is far better than Fernando Tatis - He hits for more power and drives in more runs while Tatis is having his best year with a .315 avg. however hes never batted over .300 till this year so he may be a fluke which is what i believe

Trade 2 - Rickie Weeks is batting .231 with 9 homeruns and I dont think Tejada .278 avg. 11 homeruns balances the trade another bad bargan for you

TRADE 3 - I would definetly choose Trade 3 Miguel Tejada is having a far better year than Tulowitzki - He will hit homeruns drive in runs and steal a few bases and Chris Young hasn't had enough starts to really impress people but he is one of the elite pitchers in the game

  2. trade pence for tatisand take trade 3 not trade 2

  3. You need to know exactly what is wrong with Joba before you do anything with either trade 2 or 3. If he is going to be healthy next year, Chamberlain is the only real keeper in any of those trades and you don't trade him for any of those guys. That being said, if you can wait to see how serious his injury is, and it turns out to be something that will cost most or all of next year (which I think it will), you could justify making Trade 3 because Young will keep getting better every year and Tejada should still be pretty good next year. Keep in mind, though, that Tulo is in the midst of his sophomore slump and could easily be a top 5 SS next year.

As far as trade 2: No way because Weeks kills your AVG and doesn't really help in the other categories at this point.

Trade 1: Don't fall for it. Tatis is going to wake up any day now and realize that he's Fernando Tatis. Pence is showing signs of life, and he too is in the midst of a bad sophomore slump.

And if Joba turns out to miss just a couple weeks, then don't make any of these. You should be able to get WAY more for a healthy Joba than this junk.

  4. The only one that interests me is Trade 3.  Rickie Weeks is looking like an overrated lost cause, and I still like Hunter Pence and Tulo, but getting Tejada + Young for that deal might be worth it.  That's really all I would do though, because like I said, I still think Pence and Tulo are great players with lots of upside.

Quite frankly, I don't think the guy trading Pence or Tulo (assume that's you) necessarily gets the better end of any of these, but with Joba off to see Dr. Andrews and Tulo's lack of power right now (they say his quadriceps are not fully healed), there is a case to be made for dealing those guys.
