I'm in an ESPN Football Fantasy league and I got the fourth pick overall, we have 16 rounds with 10 people drafting per round. The starting teams have to consist of.

1 QB

2 RB

1WR/RB

2 WR

1 TE

1 D/ST

1 K

7 bench players.

Answer these questions in order please.

1. Who do I draft with my first pick? Brian Westbrook or Joseph Addai or someone else?

2. What order should I pick for positions like 1: RB, 2: RB, 3: QB, etc.?

3. Who are some players to avoid at all costs and some players I could pick up late that could be seriously helpful?

  1. I like Addai over Westbrook but no one is going to make fun of you for taking Westbrook & his double threat over Addai.

I grab 2 RBs to in the 1st 2 rounds unless a Peyton Manning or Tom Brady happens to get back to you in round 2. after that i start grabbing a couple of WRs unless Brees, Romo or Palmer are still around, if not you can hold off & get a serviceable QB in rounds 6-10. after the top 5 QBs they are pretty much the same thru 12(ish). I'm seeing guys like Bulger & Cutler fall to the 8th or 9th round

DO NOT get caught up in runs at positions. if guys start grabbing TEs in round 6 let them have them, chances are your bye week depth at RB is still setting there. same goes w/ D/ST & K. i wouldn't grab a kicker until the last round(ish)

  2. 1.  Take Brian Westbrook.  Addai is on a team that passes the majority of the time and with people like Manning, Wayne, Clark, and Harrison surrounding him the ball is going to get tossed around more.  Westbrook is on a team that constantly gives him the ball (he was 70% of the Eagles offense last year).

    2.  I would take RB in the first round and then best available between RB or QB.  If Romo or Manning is still there in the second round grab them, if not go with another RB.  Someone like Jones-Drew.

    3.  I would avoid Aaron Rogers simply because we don't know what he can do.  I'm not real big on Larry Johnson and honestly I would avoid Philip Rivers.  Sleepers could be McFadden, Garrard, Roddy White, and watch for James Jones in the late rounds

  3. RB QB WR RB WR WR RB DEF TE WR. Definantly brian westbrook, he has loaded up the last two seasons, and with keven curtis hurt, he will get even more reception yards. Then try to get manning , romo or brees in the second. In the third i like houshmanzhada or braylon edwards. Two top tier receivers on good offensive teams. Avoid chad johnson, he is unhappy and an unhappy chad is an unsuccesful chad. Also avoid marvin harrison, he is hurt and old, he will never be the marvin harrison weve seen again. And try to pick up deangelo williams or jonathan stewart for the panthers, two great late roung sleepers who have looked great in the preseason. And in the 4th or 5th round, when you want a receiver, get calvin johnson, he will get 1000+ yards and will excel. i hope this helps and good luck in the draft and the season.

  4. I would tell u with your first pick take the best available running back then for your second pick I would take the top QB or WR and I would stay away at all costs would be any Bears QB and players I would pick that might be helpful would be having 2 D/ST and maybe an extra TE at least thats how i do it and a BIG KEY piece of advice would be take Jason Witten Cowboys TE in the 4 Round it doesnt seem like a position that would give you a tone of points but i found its a big help to have a great TE rather then a ok or crappy on.  Hope that helps Good luck Keep me posted on who you get if you want a grade.

  5. Take Addai number one...

Your choice on out after taht...

If i were you i would go RB, RB, WR,  and try to take Delhomme for you QB late...   I also love Meachem as a late WR sleeper. Perry could be underrated as he will officially take over the starting job.

  6. Kicker last round and you should be fine...

  7. 1.) You can't go wrong with Westbrook or Addai.  They are both solid picks.  You may want to consider whether your league awards points for receptions.

2.) Draft order is not important this year as long as you take a top RB with the 4th pick in the draft.  I would try to snag an average TE in the middle rounds (Chris Cooley, Dallas Clark, or J. Shockey).  Wait until the later rounds to snag a pair of QB's.  Cutler, Schaub, and Aaron Rodgers all present great mid-late round value.

3.) Players to avoid: Chad Johnson, Ahman Green, Ronnie Brown, Eli Manning, Edge James, Rudi Johnson, Deuce McAllister, Julius Jones, Derek Anderson, Vernon Davis, Reggie Brown, Vince Young, Lee Evans, & Phillip Rivers.

Recommended later Picks: Calvin Johnson, D. McFadden, Matt Forte, Tory Holt, Jericho Cotchery, Chris Perry, Ted Ginn Jr., DeSean Jackson, Ricky Williams, Chester Taylor, Dallas Clark, Felix Jones, Santonio Holmes, Greg Jennings, Wes Welker, Steve Slaton, Tim Hightower, Ahmad Bradshaw, Josh Morgan, Cowboys Defense
