  1. I have the #2 pick..I am taking Peterson or LT...If I were you I would take Brady...I think that Drew Brees will rock with new tight end..

  2. I would take Addai. He is younger and in a great offense. He will only get better.

  3. Out of these four, I would take Brian Westbrook especially if you are playing in a PPR League(Points Per Reception). Brian Westbrook is the best overall plalyer and running back in the NFL. He can do it all. He averages a very good yards per carry about 4.7-5.0 consistently game after game. Yes, he gets injured but only misses a few games a season and this year is fully healthy coming out of a 2,000+ total yards campaign. Tom Brady is such a waste of a #3 pick because he definitely won't throw 50 TDs this year. He will be in the 35-40 range. Joseph Addai is very good but #3 is a bit of a reach for him. Steven Jackson was injured last year but came on strong in the second half of last year. Plus the Rams have so many question marks coming into this season and their line is way too shaky for me to commit to Jackson over Westbrook. Philly has one of the best offensive lines in the league and Westbrook is the most explosive player out of this bunch so TAKE WESTBROOK!!!!!

  4. They are all good picks, but there is no right answer right now. No training camp or No preseason games have been played. So going by their years before I would go Brady or Addai, Westbrook is unpredictable in health wise and Jackson is coming off an injury and a bad season.  Now Brady is NOT going to have the same season he did last year but Addai could. So I would go with Addai good Qbs come around in the second round great running backs do not.

  5. i would go with westbrook or even jackson the rams will be fightin for  a playoff spot and he was hurt last year to it seems nobody cares that jackson was hurt last year.

  6. go westbrook.

  7. S.Jackson followed closely by Brady.  Reasons why can be found on the question: what players would you keep (fantasy football 2008)?  Please read if you want to win this year!

  8. I would take Westbrook.  The only other person to consider of the four is Addai.  Jackson is on the Rams who are not the best team offense or defense.  Last year he got hurt and killer my team. Aslo I think it is too soon for Brady.  He is a last first round pick like 7-9.  I would still pick Westbrook over Addia.  Westbrook will get about 200-300 yards less running but he will get about 700 receiving yard which is 400-500 more than Addia.  So in the end he will get more fantasy points.

In my draft I had 3rd pick and I took Westbrook and got Romo in the second round so I had a quality RB and QB.

  9. Hi downfall_man,

I think you're in a good spot because I have 3 RBs slotted in my 1st tier in 2008: LT, Westbrook, and AP.  If you look at these 3 RBs, they each scored a similar number of fantasy points per game in 2008:

Tomlinson: 18.9 fantasy points per game

Westbrook: 18.7 fantasy points per game

Peterson: 16.6 fantasy points per game

If you look at my rankings, I actually  have Westbrook slotted above Peterson; in a PPR league (points per reception), Westbrook actually blows Peterson away.  If you want the safe pick, you need to stick with Westbrook.

However, if you're feeling luck and you think you'll be able to pick up good RBs in rounds 2 and 3 (very possible in this year's draft), you could take a gamble and grab Brady.  Having Brady on your roster will give you an immediate advantage on gameday because no other QB comes close to his fantasy production.  The catch is that you have to find some RB in the rough, which is easier said than done.

The choice is yours, depending on your fantasy prowess!  If you check out the link in my source list, you'll see that I actually have Westbrook slotted above AP.  On my site you can also create your own player rankings using drag and drop, then generate a printable cheat sheet to take to your fantasy draft.  It's free.
