Fantasy Football; Brett Favre Trade

Question

I was offered Selvin Young for Brett Favre. I have Tom Brady and Jake Delhomme, so I drafted him for this purpose (trade bait).

Should I accept this trade or do you think I can get a better RB than Young?

I would do that but if you think you can get more(which you probably could), by all means go for it.

i have no confidence in selvin young whatsoever, but very smart to draft favre for trade bait, but u can definatly get someone better, go check out every1 in your leagues teams, find the team with the worst qb, and offer him up

wait a few weeks into the season. favre will probably start off good. you could do better than young. maybe try to go after forte. see who is in need of a qb and try to get a rb from them

if you can, keep him for a trade later on, like in week 3 or 4, because most surely, not all your picks are going to do good. and most certainly other people will be needing a good qb. just wait and see where your weakness is, and be patient, someone will offer you a deal for favre.Don't take selvin young for brett favre.

Get More Than Young, Like LJ Or Marion Barber. Even Go Brady For LT, Peterson Or Westbrook. Don't Know Who Else You Got. Good Luck To Ya This Season.

Brett is amazingly good trade bait. Many people see him repeating his numbers from last year, even exceeding them. Look through the teams in your league, find the team that needs a QB bad, and offer him up. Also, try posting a bulletin or sending a message advertising Favre and what you want for him. They'll bite...oh yes, they'll bite.

In my leagues I drafted favre just for trade bait, and I've found that I have the most luck trading him to whover had Laverneus Coles or Jerricho Cotchery, especially if the had a less than stellar first QB. The best i"ve gotten for Favre is Maurice Jones-Drew, so thats a lot better than Young.
