Fantasy Football Help - RB's & WR's?

Question

Hi all! I need some help with my RB and WR positions.

I'm interested in the following free agents available in my league: (Are any of these guys must haves?)

RB:

Rashard Mendenhall

Ray Rice

Ahmad Bradshaw

WR:

Isaac Bruce

Robert Meachem

The following are my current RB's and WR's: (Based on the above free agents should I cut any of these guys in their favor? If so who?)

WR:

Derrick Mason

Wes Welker

Kevin Walter

Chris Henry

RB:

Laurence Maroney

Edgerrin James

Justin Fargas

Chester Taylor

Chris Perry

Wow, you are weak at WR.  Henry is out the first 4 games because of suspension.  I would drop him and pick up Bruce or Eddie Royal.  Meachem is buried on the depth chart.  Colston, Henderson, and patten are all ahead of him. Rice could do well especially if McGahee is injured for long.  I might drop Taylor and pick him up.

I think your RB's are fine.  Don't mess with them.  Mendenhall and Rice may see some touches but Chester Taylor has too much upside to dump and the rest of the guys are starters.  You could dump Walter AND Henry in favor of Bruce and Meachem but if I woke up this morning with your team I would be shopping a Fargas/Welker combo around for a top tier WR like T.O. or Braylon Edwards.  Hope that helps.

In my mind i would drop Chester Taylor, He is a backup now so i dont think he will help alot unless AP gets hurts. Definetly get Mendenhall he is a backup but Willie Parker is washed up so Mendenhall will take over somewhere along the year
