Question:

Fantasy Football Keeper Question?

I am in a fantasy football keeper league. We are allowed to keep 1 player. Unfortunatley I do not have that one fantasy stud to hold on to. I also get the 6th pick in the 1st round. Who would you keep out of these 5 players?

Willie Parker

Ryan Grant

Ronnie Brown

Thomas Jones

Braylon Edwards

I'm leaning towards Parker but he had a bad year last year and is getting older.

  1. I like Ryan Grant here.  He is young and he doesn't split carries.  Hopefully Green Bay will give him an extension soon, so he can start practicing with the team again.  Of course if he signs a long term deal, hopefully he will play up to his value.  Good luck!!

If you like fantasy football, then you might get a kick out of this too.  It's a little different but it's simple and fun.  If you are into fantasy football, then you should at least try this.  Just click on the link...

  2. Braylon, Parker is on the downside of his heroic run in Pitt, Edwards is a stud, he had a QB emerge from the rubble that is Cleveland and he now has Stallworth on the other side to alleviate some coverage. He is a top 5 WR.

  3. Edwards. You can get a RB with the 6th pick.

  4. If you can wait a while before making this decision it would be best. You need to see how the Parker/Mendenhall split is gonna work, same with Ronnie Brown's health, and Grant's holdout.  If you HAD to make a choice now, Grant has the least amount of questions, he is the unopposed starter and should get nearly all the carries.  But without Favre, teams may stack the box and force Rodgers to beat them at first.  Mendenhall should keep Parker fresh and help wear down D's...but will he lose the goalline touches to the bigger Mendenhall, and Big Ben loves his TE's in the redzone.  Too many ?'s to make this decision now.

  5. Braylon Edwards

Running backs are fickle producers, injury-prone and easily replaced during the season by better ones (such as Grant). Thus Parker, Grant, and Brown are all easily replaceable with picks in your draft (#6 will net you a #1 RB). Jones is a non-factor, he's good but because of the inconsistent O-line and poor production from the QB and WRs, the Jets offense is too questionable to hedge a keeper.

The Browns believe it is their year, Derek Anderson is an excellent QB and Jamal Lewis eases pressure off of their aerial attack, thus their star WR is your keeper. Keep Braylon Edwards

  6. lol ryan grant without a doubt hes gonna get a c**p load of carries like alot lol

  7. Grant. Has alot of upside. Plus a 1st year QB, oh and Green Bay is one of few teams not using to 2 featured back system.
