Question:

Fantasy Football Keepers?

I have a team on CBS Sportsline, we are keeping 3 players from each team. I am stuck on who to keep because we are keeping 3 I feel I will miss out on a good QB if I don't keep mine. Here are my players i'm stuck on.

Westbrook, Steven Jackson, T.O and Romo.

Westbrook and Jackson are keepers. I am stuck between keeping Owens or Romo. I want Owens, but Romo scored so many more points last year (786 compared to T.O's 386). No matter what I do I will miss out on the other in the draft.

Who should I keep? No good QB or WR will be available when I pick

  1. If the scoring is that favorable to a QB, you would be foollish not to keep Romo.

You might still be able to draft Owens to keep that lethal "double dip" intact.

Romo is a top producer, so you are wise to keep him.

I love having a top WR, but Westbrook and Jackson are consensus top 5 picks in all formats.  Your three keepers give you a fierce advantage, and you can find top wideouts later.

  2. then you have to go with ROMO. You need points and QB's are the key.

  3. It sounds like your league favors QB's, so absolutely keep Romo!

Owens is getting older, so depending on how many years are left with your Keeper league, he could be less of a commodity.

Romo will be good for another five to ten years (depending on injuries, of course) while Owens won't be around for too many more years.

If Romo got more than double T.O.'s points last year, don't even leave this to chance.  You can probably pick up another great WR (Colston, Fitzgerald, Steve Smith) that will do just as well or better than Owens next year.  I know you say no good QB or WR will be available, and if that's the case, it's still better to start Romo and Boldin than Rivers and Owens.  At least, with the monster numbers QB's put up in your league...Romo is far more valuable than Owens.

    Please, please...go with Romo!

  4. Romo duh

    No brainer
