Fantasy Football Question? It's about Steven Jackson?

Does Steven Jackson's value increase in your mind now that he is in training camp? Here's how my top 5 RBs go:

1. LaDainian Tomlinson

2. Steven Jackson (That's where he's been the entire year for him)

3. Joseph Addai

4. Marion Barber

5. Brian Westbrook

I just don't like Brian Westbrook, he doesn't have anything to special about him. If you wanna say he's the best receiving back, he isn't, Steven Jackson beats him in a landslide, 800 receiving yards out of the backfield just two seasons ago. Last year he only played 12 games, and had an injured O-Line, and still managed over 1,000 yards and 5 TDs.

  1. i would change it to this:

    1: LT

    2:Jackson

    3:Peterson

    4:Westbrook

    5:Barber

    6: Addai

the top 4 backs are all about equal in that they are all great. say what you want about westbrook, but he is the best recieving back. 2 years ago was 2 years ago. westbrook NEVER held out for more money and he is probably the lowest paid out of those 6 until maybe this yera when he finally got a good contracct. he is also probably the eagles no 1 or no 2 receiver. i only put jackson ahead of westbrook becasue of his consistentsy in the past. westbrook is better than addai and barber as barber mainly gets his carries on the goaline and addai has never been consistent. he is a big name who is over rated and i dont trust him that much. i definitely think jackons value has gone up now that hes in camp. i would have drafted him in my draft yesterday morning if that news was known to me.

  2. Why dont you have AP in your top five?  I really believe that after Tomlinson and Westbrook, Jackson falls in behind them.  Why is Barber rated so high with you?  Lynch, Portis, and Grant have been ranked higher than Barber in many fantasy circles.  But its your world.  Do what you will.

  3. Westbrook doesn't have anything special about him? You must be kidding. He has so much talent it's ridiculous. Have you seen him play? He is so consistent because of his receiving skills. If he goes up against a tough run D, he'll still get points. He only missed one game last year (and the year before). He's always an injury risk - but so are the other top backs. And the team caters to him - he doesn't practice at times or play much in the preseason so he stays fresh. He helped me win my fantasy league last year with his consistency. I wouldn't shy away from him at all. And certainly he is a special player.

  4. Um, yes....do you  think it goes down or  stays the same?

    1.  LT

    2. Westbrook

    3. SJ

    4.  Addai

    5. AP

You're  basically saying Westbrook isn't  better than  Jackson.  You make no case for  Barber  or Addai being  ahead of him.

AP is  highly overrated. I  believe  he  is  a great running  back, but no way he does what he  did last year.  He  overachieved. I am so sick of  people acting  like what happened  last  year will happen again. He is  inconsistent and  injury prone

  5. Actually, the ranking I've seen, and agree with, is:

    1.  L. Tomlinson

    2.  A. Peterson (Minn)

    3.  J. Addai

    4.  S. Jackson

    5.  B. Westbrook

    6.  M. Barber

    7.  F. Gore

I'm also going to shy shy away from Westbrook since he usually misses games and last year, in one league, lost me the championship by dropping a knee at the one yard line.

  6. LT was not deserving of the #1 pick last year based on his performance throughout the season.  Then he sat out the playoff game against the patriots.  if you have a busted knee in the championship game, you nail a 2x4 to your leg and play, because you may never get back there again.  he's to him giving up his only chance to perform on the big stage.

LT was average last year, I put him right above westbrook.

  7. Um what about adrian peterson he was the second best rb or even the best. i but i do think with him in camp it does help his value but i don't think he is number 2 just because how poor his team did last year and i don't see a huge change this year

think it should go LT, Adrian Peterson, Steven jackson, Joseph Addai and brian westbrook. west brook is there just because they have no wrs and he can catch out of the back Field
