Fantasy Football Trade Help

I need your opinion on a trade that was proposed to me. Here's the details:

I'd be giving away Hines Ward (WR - PIT) and Darren McFadden (RB - OAK). In return, I'd be reciving Roddy White (WR - ATL) and Jamal Lewis (RB - CLE).

Should I accept the trade?

  1. It seems pretty even. Jamal Lewis probably is more reliable but will only get you so much whereas darren mcfadden is much riskier but has the potential to be a stud.

  2. I'd say do it.  Lewis will do well in Cleveland and you already have LT.  Without another RB to fill your second slot, I'd say you get guaranteed strength in your RB position with LT and Lewis.

  3. I think you should stay put. Who knows how good McFadden can be this year? Might be worth holding on to. Jamal Lewis was decent last year but does get injured pretty regularly.

And Hines Ward is pretty consistent whereas Roddy White is inconsistent.

I'd only go for a trade if it was totally obvious. When you have to debate it you'll be second guessing yourself afterwards.

  4. that is a horrable trade dont do that falcons really dont even have a good quarterback and jamal lewis wont do anything for u

  5. yes but try and keep d-mac and give up something else

  6. WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR!? DO IT!! lmfao

Roddy White has "shined" so far with redman. think about what he can do with Ryan. Jamal Lewis and the Browns are looking at the playoffs and there is nothing to stop them.

Hines Ward is typical Hines Ward. 900-1000 receving, 7-8 touchdowns. Darren McFadden isn't the hottest thing since sliced bread, nor are his Raiders. Believe me, I LOVE the Raiders, but they're looking at a 5-11 season, which isn't that bad considering the previous 3.

  7. It depents what your backup look like.  McFadden is a big question mark right now since he hasnt done anything.  If you have good backups, you can risk trading him.  If you do not have good backups, keep him.

As far as talent goes, I would keep what you got.

  8. Well, you like everyone else don't know what Darren McFadden can or will do.

He has exactly 0 carries in his carreer.

Hines Ward has two sub-1000 yard seasons and a knee injury of late.

Roddy White will have a rookie QB, unless Chris Redman wins the job.

Jamal Lewis found the fountain of youth, and may still have some gas left in the tank.

On paper, it's not a bad trade.  I think McFadden will be sharing carries with Michael Bush and Justin Fargas.  He may be a fantasy force, or he may fizzle.

It's risky, and only you can weigh that decision.
