My Lineup:

QB: Derek Anderson, Matt Schaub

RB: Clinton Portis, Ronnie Brown, Thomas Jones (Flex), Matt Forte, Chris Johnson

WR: Randy Moss, Torry Holt, Lee Evans, Bobby Engram

TE: Jeremy Shockey

K: Taylor Mehlhaff

D/ST: Indianapolis Colts

This player I want to trade with wants Moss, and here's his lineup.

QB: Hasselback, Rivers

RB: Steven Jackson, Willis McGahee, Fred Taylor (flex), Felix Jones, Sammy Morris

WR: Andre Johnson, Steve Smith, Laveranues Coles, Reggie Brown, Isaac Bruce

TE: Alge Crumpler, Benjamin Watson

K: Robbie Gould

D: Chargers

I'm thinking of Moss & Jones for Johnson & McGahee, but I need some advice.

The trade doesn't have to be for McGahee, I preferably want Steven Jackson but I don't think I can pull that trade off.

  1. Id be leery of trading for Johnson given his history of injuries. You already have one injury-prone Texan on your roster in Schaub.

You definitely need help at RB with Portis having durability issues and Brown coming back from injury and Jones needing a GPS quidance system to find the end zone so if you're intent of giving up Moss I'd ask for Jackson and Smith/Coles in return.

  2. If you are going to trade then try and trade for Jackson and nobody else.  Don't bother with McGahee because he is not worth the price of moss.  But don't forget that Jackson is holding out for a new contract right now and who knows when he will end his holdout.  It could be another Larry Johnson situation like last year.

Personally i would keep your team as is because it seems pretty good to me.  Good luck!!

  3. keep moss

    im tellin u

but im not really sure about the others

  4. Thats a pretty even trade. Obviously Moss wont have a year like last. he will fall just a bit. If you want Jackson you would only be able to get Coles as the other if you wanted a WR with it. i think Willis is in for a pretty big year as well.

  5. Ummm...no you DONT want Steven Jackson. He has injuries to be watchful of and he is in STL. no good o-line there. and its not going to work out.

dont trade moss. no point. andre johnson is good, but QB in houston is still working up...

I would take Thomas Jones out of the RB/WR flex and put in Lee Evans. More points for sure. You don't have to trade. You're fine the way you are.

Nope, not Smith. He's still suspended, and that's too big of a question mark for you to do that. Coles' value goes up a little with Farve, but not that much.

  6. Randy Moss & Ronnie Brown

    for

    Andre Johnson and Steven Jackson

I think this is a good deal. Andre got hurt last year, but other than that he's never been seriously hurt (no tears, surgeries). Usually guys like that come back very strong (steve smith broken leg, adrian peterson collarbone).

You need to upgrade from Ronnie Brown - with Ricky Williams looking very good in TC, i'd imagine he'd start getting some of Ronnie's carries.

You get an uprade in RB, he gets an upgrade in WR - its a fair deal.
