Here's the deal-

Trading:

Aaron Rodgers

Jamal Lewis

Torry Holt

Getting:

Carson Palmer

Fred Taylor

Antonio Gates

My QBs are Rodgers, Matt ryan, and Chris Redman at this point. Jamal's my second starting back after AP, but my backups are Michael Bush and Kolby Smith. my WRs are Holt, Donald Driver, Patrick Crayton, and Reggie Williams, with Kevin Walter and Devin Hester backing him up. My tE is LJ Smith, but I drafter Terry Gleen and will be dropping him most likely for Anthony Fasano. I'm not sure who's getting the better side and I have a hard time figuring out if Taylor's too old. Please help.

  1. yes

  2. do the trade and if you don't that is weird

  3. Yes!!! Gates is one of the best TE in the NFL and Taylor is just as goodas Lewis or better AND Palmer is like 50 times better than rodgers...DO IT!

  4. Yeah make the trade

  5. You'd be getting an upgrade at QB and TE but taking a hit at RB- Lewis figures to be a workhorse again while Taylor gives up carries and more importantly TDs to MoJo and you would be losing your only really good WR.  Also, Gates may not be 100% to start the season- he'll probably be on the field but may not be seeing the ball as much.  It's a tough call, but I think I'd turn the deal down.

  6. Do it.

  7. Your backups are pretty weak across the board. As much as it would be nice to upgrade to Palmer and Gates, this would put you at some risk at RB - you've got the wrong Bush and Smith as backups at RB. Further, this is a creates a potential problem at WR. Williams is on the PUP (physically unable to perform). You would need to be confident of his status and Gates at the start of the season before accepting this trade. It's a close call, but I think I would turn it down and take my chances with Rogers unless I knew Gates was healthy going into the season. I would also drop both Glenn and one of the backup QBs and pick up more help at RB and WR. Smith might be okay at TE this year. If he's healthy, he'll be a part of the red zone offense.
