He Gets:

Willis McGahee

My starting QB is Ben Roethlisberger. So is this fair? Why or why not? Best Answer get 10 Points

  1. h**l yes you get a workhorse rb and you are already solid at qb.

  2. Obviously, it would be a good deal for you. I can't really immagine that anyone would actually consider doing this from the other side of the trade. First, the QBs the other guy has are okay. Not top of the chart, but Favre isn't an upgrade for him at QB. Favre on a new team is about equivalent to Bulger and a bit below McNabb. Willis McGahee is injured going into the season. In addition, he'd alwso have to drop someone else from his roster to accept a 2 for 1 trade.

  3. Absolutely. McGahee is kind of broken and Rice has looked good (I smell time-share). Steven Jackson and the Rams are ready to put 2007 behind them and he's still easily at top 5 RB and a major contributor to a dynamic offense

Roethlisberger is solid and and assuming Favre doesn't magically throw 4000+ yards and 30 TD's on a new team, they should be nearly identical in terms of fantasy value. Can't say that about Jackson and McGahee.

Favre was trade bait for a believer and you hooked him. If you want a backup go grab Warner, he's got the job week 1 and available in most leagues.

  4. Its good but I think holding onto Favre would be a good idea as a second back up. He's not the best but I think he will be doing a lot of passing this year considering that the Jets will probably be trailing most of the time. And McGahee is going to be the workhorse, but he's hurt.

    I'd probably do it though!...

  5. Not a bad trade. Fargas and Jackson is an O.K starting pair of RB's. You can always trade Fargas away if you need a better one. I would take Roethlisberger over Favre any day, as Ben has better recievers, and I predict the Steelers are going to go further and have a better record than the Jets this campaign. If you have any other weak positions, then you might want to ask for a player in that position and strengthen that position. But it's up to you. It's a good trade anyhow.

  6. I think its a bad trade! You could probably trade brett straight up for a new RB. He might not be a S Jackson, but at least you you get to keep McGahee. Lets face it, Fargas won't get much PT with McFadden carrying the rock.

Try making the trade in a few weeks. By then Favre's stock could be up and you can get some killer value for him. McNabb may also be hurt by this point and your boy is gonna be desperate!
