I setup a team last year, but can't remember what the difference is between the two and which is better? I think I did live draft - that is the one where you choose your own players correct? This is only my second year in playing and I'm still learning.

  1. Live Draft is where you pick your players on the computer, and Automated is when you don't pick your players. It selects the highest rated player on your pre draft rankings list and puts them on your team.

  2. yes, in a live draft you pick your own players. an automated draft is when the computer picks for you and you dont even have to be at your computer. I prefer live draft.

  3. Correct. In a live draft you picked players based on you own preference and who is left on the board. The automated draft the system goes only by your pre-rankings. So therefore if someone you really want is taken you have to be sure to set it up so your second or third options are still there.

Much less control in an automated draft because in a live draft you can see the trends of how people are making picks. Good luck.
