Fantasy Football. Would you make this trade?

I've offered a trade to another guy in my league, and he's just accepted. Obviously I think this is a good deal for me, but I wanted to see what you fantasy guru's think.

I am in a 10 team keeper league and our offline draft is Tuesday. The keepers are:

Tom Brady

Drew Brees

Carson Palmer

L.T.

Adrian Peterson

Joseph Addai

Clinton Portis

Randy Moss

Larry Johnson

Brian Westbrook

I am keeping Brees (believe it or not it was my best option) and currently own the 2nd pick in the draft. Here is the deal I offered.

I am swapping the #2 pick (Stephen Jackson- I know the guy at #1 is taking Peyton Manning) for the number 8 pick and he is giving up his third round pick (#28) giving me an extra pick in the third round. This means I will own the #8,19,22,28,39, & 42 picks, giving me 6 picks through 5 rounds.

My thought process is that Jackson is holding out right now (and an injury risk), and I get an extra pick in the early rounds that will allow me to have lots of options and load up early. Especially due to the fact that my league starts 2 WR, 2 RB & 1 Flex spot (WR or RB).

Would you make this move?

  1. Personally, I would ask on Y!A.  So I have no clue.  But, might I say, that these "fantasy football guru's" suck at fantasy baseball.  Maybe I'll offer the same trade.
