Fantasy Football preseason ranking question?

Has there ever been a rookie who had a high ADP preseason do well in the regular season? I've chatted with a few guys in mocks and the only player we can think of is Emmitt Smith in 1990 or thereabouts.

I don't recall where AP's ADP was last year but he sure had himself a nice season.  But it is better to draft the proven talent vs the "I think he can" early on

How high do you mean by ADP, say within the top 25?  Offensive?

Are you considering IDP leagues?  Ray Lewis and Champ Bailey both had impressive rookie campaigns, even in fantasy context.

Clinton Portis, and Edge James both ripped up their rookie seasons but didn't necessarily get drafted that high.  Marshall Faulk went fairly high.

I've played for almost 20 years, so I'll look back and see.  Emmitt Smith was indeed hyped coming in.  Edge did well and was hyped out of 'the U.'
