Ok... so I am sort of happy with my team...

my team goes like this: 1Qb, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 TE, 1 D/ST, 1K and 6 bench spots... here we go:

QB: Carson Palmer

RB: Adrian Peterson

RB: Earnest Graham

WR: Reggie Wayne

WR: Roy Williams

WR: Ted Ginn Jr.

TE: Antonio Gates

K: Stephen G.

D/ST: Bears

Bench:

Kurt Warner

Johnathan Stewart

Ronnie Brown

Ricky Williams

DeSean Jackson

Devin Hester

Ok so I love my RB depth even though you guys might not. I snagged Ronnie Brown and Ricky just in case one another got hurt. Plus Ricky looks good in pre season. So I think they are great back ups. Plus Earnest was awesome last year. And I like DeSean because he looks good to.

I am number 1 in the waiver wire so whoever I want I will get at least until week one starts. So I all ready dropped Devin Hester and picked up RB Chris Perry from the Bengals. Now I am dropping Kurt Warner because I have no need from him and no one else really wants him in my league and I need a WR.

Now here is where it comes down to. I need WR help. As you can see my WR are not that good. Since I am dropping Kurt I want to know which WR are on the wire:

Shaun McDonald

Kevin Walter

Reggie Williams

Jerry Porter

Isaac Bruce

Ronald Curry

David Patten

Justin Gage

Roydell Williams

Amani Toomer

Brandon Stokely

Deion Branch

Dennis Northcutt

A. Randle El

Sidney Rice

just to name a few. Out of these guys which one should I pick up??? BTW could you rate my team as well?

  1. Oh boy, dude you need a back up quarterback!  What are you going to do when the bye weeks come, look to the future and not to the now.   Pick him back up, Warner is a great hand cuff and posted awesome number in a short time.  You could use him if Palmer doesn't pan out (it happens) especially, when you consider how easy it is to get hurt.

But, If your looking for a good wide out from that list, Sidney Rice has the highest rate of return.  I only have heard good things about him and he's kind of build like Randy Moss...

  2. I disagree...I don't think you need a backup quarterback at the moment, and you can always drop Desean Jackson to pick up a plug-and-play quarterback during Palmer's bye week.  I don't see a scenario where you would start Warner over Palmer, and a Jon Kitna type might be available for your bye week.

I actually think your starting WR's are very good, but I agree you could use one more.  Out of the list of players, I would definitely choose Jerry Porter in Jacksonville. He's the Jag's #1 on the depth chart at the moment, and about on par with Ginn.
