ok, here is the deal.

I give away:

QB Drew Brees - 2007 ranked 8th, projected 2008 rank 40th

WR Larry Fitzgerald - 2007 rank 21st, projected 2008 25th

I receive:

WR Terrell Owens - 2007 rank 13th, projected 08 rank 15th

RB Darren McFadden - rookie, projected 08 rank 33rd.

I have Philip Rivers at QB also, so I figure I won't lose too much there, and I'll gain alot of offense. and at RB I also have:

adrian peterson, reggie bush, earnest graham, warrick dunn, and ray rice, so I could deal one of them at any point for another positional need.

This league only counts TD's for points, if that helps any also. so I only need finishers, who should i deal?

  1. Dont do it.

Brees is going to get you more TD's then Rivers

Fitzgerald could get you 10 td's easily

Darren McFadden isnt proven and could flop or not get the starting job and is only projected for 5td's

TO might get you 15 td's.

    Bottom line:

    Brees + Fitzgerald = 30-40 TD's

    TO + McFadden = 15 - 20TD's

  2. This isnt as cut and dry as what you think since this is a TD only league.  All Fitzgerald does is catch TD's and Brees will easily throw more td's than Rivers (he has td hog LT2 to deal with).  Sure Owens is the best player in the deal but he may only put up 2 to 3 more TD's than Fitz.  You have so many RB's already, why continue to muddy the water.  I would deal Bush and Rivers to upgrade at either QB (so you can trade Brees) or a better RB2 and keep Brees.

  3. Dude. Do it. Like now.

  4. NO DO NOT DO THIS BECAUSE FITZ WILL GET MOR POINTZ THAN MCFADDEN AND I DON'T KNOW WHO YOUR OTHER QB IS BUT DREEW BREES IS A DOMINANT QB AND YOU NEED TO HOLD ON TO HIM

  5. Take the deal! TO is TO and I think will do well again this year. And alot of the "experts" are saying that McFadden is going to be the big rookie this year. But then again you have AP as your starter so you wont be relying on McFadden to win games. Overall take the deal.

  6. yes.  plain and simple

  7. I'd definitely do it, you know TO is gonna put up huge numbers like usual, plus if you have Rivers, it's probably worth taking a chance on Run DMC.

  8. I would take it but its a hit or miss with mcfadden

but if you have another good QB then take the deal

  9. A quaterback will always give u more touchdowns than a Wide Receiver and a running back combined. And a QB like Drew Brees will throw 30 Touchdowns a year. and Larry will get 10 a year which gets you 30 -40 touchdowns a year. Darren Mcfadden may get 10 and T.O. may get 15 touchdowns but it is not no where near Drew. It is best for you to keep them
