Fantasy Footballllll?

I joined my first fantasy football league yesterday and I had the first overall pick. My boyfriend told me to choose olindo mare first overall, because kickers are worth the most. So my team looks like this:

Qb- jim sorgi

Rb-cedric benson

Rb-maurice clarett

wr-willie ponder

wr-az-zahir akim

Te-sean Ryan

defense-cinicinatti

kicker-olindo mare

rb-kyle eckel

My boyfriend told me this was a good team. What do you guys think?

This exact same question has been posted and I will give the same answer. This is the worst team I have ever seen and I haven't even heard of most of the players on the teams. Tell your boyfriend he's a r****d because I'm going to tell you my team. Tom Brady, Dononvan Mcnabb, Ryan Grant, Maurice Jones-Drew, Chad Johnson, Tony Gonzalez, Bobby Engram, Javon Walker, Antwaan Randel El, San Diego defense, Jason Hanson. That's way better than this team.

I hope you're kidding.  If not, your guy deserves the cold shoulder until the superbowl.  Sorgi backs up a guy named Peyton Manning.  Benson might not be a free man by the time the season starts.  Olindo was cut.  The only player (?) on there that might actually ever take the field is the Bengals DEF.  good luck though!

ur boyfriend insulted ur confidence, no offence intended but rb's and qb's along with wr's are the high scorers kickers may get 8 pts a week.

Sweetie, Most managers don't even want to be bothered with kickers. They are usually the last pick.

I had to learn all by myself by asking questions. Last year I couldn't finish my teams, had to leave as they were and still finished 2nd in most.

Stick in there and learn as you go but don't ask your boyfriend for any advice, please.

This list of players is made up, no one could pick such an awful team unless they intended to. Im really sorry if you did happen to draft this team though.  It seems made up.
