Fantasy Keeper: Maroney or Plaxico?

Question

My keeper league requires that you keep one player, and depending on which round you drafted him in last year determines which round you forfeit in this year's draft. It's a 10-team league, and my team was really bad last year.

I drafted Maroney in the 7th round two years ago, and Plaxico in the 10th round last year. My concerns are that Maroney plays for Belichek, and who knows what he'll do with the running game this year. I'm also worried that the Giants are headed for a SB hangover, and that Plaxico's offseason turmoil will hurt his season this year.

If you drafted Maroney 2 years ago, what round would you lose for keeping him this year, a 4th or 3rd?  If you still lose only a 7th you gotta keep Maroney, I am sure most top RB's will be kept and he started heating up at the end of the last year.... in fact I think you gotta keep him regardless, as long as you dont lose a 1st or 2nd rounder for him.  Burress is great value at 10 but since you had a bad draft last year, you gotta protect the one decent player you have at Fantasy Football's most important position and start building from there.  There are always WR's that come out of no where to produce, you need to have more stable players at RB and Maroney gives you that.

keep plaxico-here is why-

giants are going to struggle and in the nfc east they will have many nail biters -very few blow outs(if any) will always have nice mix of run and pass. plax will get his. pats are going to be even more relentless than last year, and with bradys' arm and too many targets moron-ey will see limited carries and rec. pats will not play run offense, they dont have to

There offense hasn't changed 1 bit, if anything it will be better with Derrick Ward healthy.  Eli will have a career year and Plaxico will be a huge part of that.  As for them struggling????? No one believed last year, so keep hating on themmmm boys from New York and watch out.
