Question:

Fantasy Running Backs?

I'm drafting my fantasy football team tomorrow and when I was ranking my players I noticed that there really arn't many top RB's other than Tomlinson and possibly S. Jackson. Others like L. Johnson and Portis are injury prone, You can hope that A Peterson is as good or better than last year.

So how do you rank the top 7 RB's in the NFL?

Remember how just a few years ago you got to pick from guys like Tomlinson, Alexander, James,Dillon, Martin, R.Williams, Holmes, S.Davis, Portis.............there were enough good RB'S for everyone.

  1. Here's my top 10.

    LT

    Westbrook

    Peterson (Vikings)

    Jackson (Rams)

    Addai

    LJ

    Barber

    Lynch

    Lewis

    Grant

  2. If you really want to be succesfull at RB take Marshawn Lynch Of Buffalo because he will have 10 games against teams who rank 20th or worse against the run.

  3. 1. LT

    2. A. Peterson

    3. LJ

    4. Portis

    5. S. Jackson

    6. S. Alexander

    7. Reggie Bush

    Good luck

  4. Jones-drew, bush, ronnie brown are good. they get you all purpose yards

  5. 1 LT

    2 Adrian Peterson

    3 Steven Jackson

    4 Brian Westbrook

    5 Joseph Addai

    6 Marion Barber

    7 Larry Johnson

  6. I would also look at back on teams that have had some big changes in the offseason. Perhaps the RBs in Green Bay will be getting more carries or shorter passes, now that the gunner, Brett Favre, is seemingly gone. Or with the arrival of Shockey in New Orleans, will their backs (including Reggie Bush, if he can stay healthy) have to run over fewer men in the box? These ideas are not for first round selections, but maybe in the middle rounds of the draft.

  7. Regarding Frank Gore despite having an off year versus his rookie season, he still did well. Erase what happened last year because OC Hostler was garbage from the start. He was 80% of why the offense sucked so bad last year. The passing game was so awful that the oposing defense stuffed more players in the box stuffing the line. With OC Mike Martz, his pass happy playbook will revitalize the offense. Martz even made Kitna look like a stud. Martz has already mentioned that he wants to utilize Frank Gore like he did back in the days with Marshall Faulk (Greatest Show On Turf). Are you sold yet? Frank Gore shows tremendous promise. I expect him to have similar #s like his rookie season or better.  He will come back into Fantasy relevance.

Thumbs up to those who agree.
