My starting RBs are McGahee and Fargas. And the other guy needs a QB because he has McNabb and Bulger. So tell me if this trade is fair

I Get:

Steven Jackson

He Gets:

Willis McGahee

Brett Favre

My starting QB is Ben Roethlisberger. He said he needs a better QB. So is this fair? Why or why not? Best Answer get 10 Points

  1. I would love this trade.  Jackson is a certifiable stud and McGahee just had surgery.  I wouldn't put it past the ravens to start playing Ray Rice a lot more during the season and trading McGahee.  Favre is still a question mark until we see how he fares against a slew of DB's that he hasn't played against before.  This could be a year of 20+ picks if he's not careful.

Take the trade and laugh at the other guy when McGahee gets replaced and Favre gets picked 6 times in Foxboro this year.

  2. IT SOUNDS LIKE A FAIR DEAL, REMEMBER THE RAIDERS NOW ARE CROWDED WITH RB'S SO FARGAS WILL DEFINATELY SHARE CARRIES WITH MCFADDEN SO THERE GO HALF OF FARGAS TOUCHES. MC GAHEE LOTS OF YARDS REALLY NEVER SCORES.

STEVEN JACKSON IS HEALTH THIS YEAR AND HIS O-LINE IS HEALTHY AFTER AND FAVRE IS ON A NEW SYSTEM I WOULD TRUST HIM IF HE WAS STILL IN GB BUT NOW HES A JET WHO DOES HE REALLY HAVE TO THROW TO.  GOOD DEAL FOR YOU

  3. This is a fair trade and I would do it. You are giving him a good QB and you are giving up a 2nd tier RB. I don't understand why he needs a QB with McNabb and Bulger. McNabb is going to have a good year. If he needs a QB, he should go ahead and pull the trigger.

  4. Jackson is now signed and I has lost ten pounds so he looks more lean than last year. He also the focal point of the Rams Offense now. The trade is fair with Favre included, Jackson is better than McGahee (who is coming off an injury). Action Jackson should be ready to go.

You just have to pray that Fargas has a good year and does not lose the starting job to mcfadden or share carries 50/50 with him. That is the potential backbreaker.

  5. Personally, I would make the trade. Big Ben is a solid/safe pick as is Favre, so by losing Favre you are not giving up your Quarterback position. No offence, but your running back position is a little weak. McGahee and Fargas as you're RB's won't get that many points. Fargas will most likely lose his job by mid-season to DMC and McGahee is injury prone and needs oxygen after every 30+ yard runs, as rare as they are.

Steven Jackson is a top 5 RB. Yes, I do realize that STL had some contract issues with him, but they signed him and he has been practicing and will start Week 1 against the Eagles. He's a stud and will be productive all year if healthy.

  6. Idk... kind of rolling the dice with Jackson with all of the controversy going on in STL and his contract.

  7. Ya i'd do it, Steven Jackson got his contract and as long as the Ram's O-line doesn't collapse like last year, he'll done fine.
