In need some help with my starting outfield. I feel I have a very strong outfield. I have

Ichiro Suzuki, Sea OF

Magglio Ordonez, Det OF

Pat Burrell, Phi OF

Aaron Rowand, SF OF

Xavier Nady, Pit OF

Jay Bruce, Cin OF

(These six are my starters now)

and Matt Holliday, Col OF, who just came off of the DL.

I know I have to get Holliday back in there I'm just not sure who to bench for him. Also in free agency Raul Ibanez, Sea OF, and Jeremy Hermida, Fla OF, are available and I was just wanting some opinions to whether one or both of these two would be better than the players I already have?

  1. Do you have 6 OF slots? The bench Nady or Rowand when Holliday is ready to go back in the lineup.

Ichiro=average & pace, Mags=power & RBI, Pat the Bat=RBI with the Phillies top 4, Rowand & Nady bat for poor teams which limit their RBI/run potential.

Jay Bruce=some power, some pace & average. He will get better over the course of the season, his slow down is due to pitchers knowing a bit more about him.

Leave Ibanez & Hermida alone, they don't make you better.

  2. ICHIRO, Ordonez, Bruce, Holliday should be the starters.

  3. you start ichiro magglio and holiday.

rowand nady and bruce can go in agains non aces. with so much talent you have to choose who starts when.

you can almost sit guys against star pitchers.

if yourif has lots of runners trade ichiro, and bruce for a howard at 1st, (he is due) a braun at 3rd, or a star that you need. you could trade magglio and bruce- you have 4 guys with the same production....strengthen  where  you are weak.
