Fantasy basketball league tips?

anyone got any tips ?

what is the most realistic type of league : points, head-to-head, or rotisserie ?

should i allow trades ?

how much signings/releases should i allow ?

any max. games ?

points is the least fun and competitive of the 3. i prefer roto over h-2-h. the most well-rounded team wins, and dominating just a few categories doesn't win you the league. regardless of the scoring system, allow unlimited trades & transactions, but think about setting an 82-game max.

if there's no max, then the person/people willing to add/drop the most will rack up the most stats and have a better chance of dominating. of course, everyone could follow that strategy, but shouldn't a good team have to closely watch and budget their games, not being rewarded for simply "outworking" everyone else? 82 games levels the playing field.
