Alright i'm a little new to the whole fantasy football deal so I need some advice. I have already drafted Peyton Manning and Clinton Portis. What players and positions should I draft next and what order. Also when is it a good time to pick up a good defense? I don't know too much about football so I want to be the sleeper of my league and beat my friends asses please help!

  1. Forget D. Take the best available RB or WR wih the next two picks. QB's are deep and don't worry much about kickers or D.

  2. You need to grab another RB w/ your next pick, then snag a WR unless there is another stub RB than grab another, i'm not a big fan of Portis. RBs win fantasy championships & if you missed out on a top 5 WR, they are all about the same from 6-20

i'd pick a kicker in the last round & wouldn't take a D until there are about 5 rounds left. my best fantasy rookie advice is, don't get caught up in the runs at certain postions. it never fails, some guy grabs a D in the 6th round & people panic. everyone starts grabbing Ds. take THAT opportunity to start snagging up depth at WR / RB. you will see runs on TEs & kickers as well..... listen to me & don't bite the bait

  3. There are free cheat sheets to follow everywhere. I use:

  4. Get another quality Running back stat, followed by your three receivers. Defense can actually wait until the 3rd before last round followed by a kicker.
