Question:

Fantasy football draft advice?

I'm in a 12 team league. Pretty standard scoring-- 6 pts. for rushing/receiving TD and 4 pts. for passing Td and standard yardage scoring. I just need a little advice. I pick 10th. I've kinda figured out how the draft might go and I think I'm going to have some choices at that spot.

I'm thinking my choices are going to be Larry Johnson, Marshawn Lynch, Marion Barber, or Portis. They probably all won't be there but they have a chance to be. I'm high on Lynch this year. One of the few RB's who doesn't split time. Larry could have a come-back year. Barber might lose carries to Felix Jones. And Portis seems to get banged up.

I'm just curious how you rank those 4. Or, should I go and get the best WR in Moss?

  1. Dont pick a WR or a QB in the first round.. I wouldnt even get one in the 2nd... 300 carry backs are too rare.. there are only 15 teams left running a single back set this year... so any one of those guys is very valuable... WR's are deep and so are QB's... You do want at least 1 elite WR, but you dont have to sacrifice a great RB to do so.  I plan on gambling big time with Ronnie Brown in rnd 2 this year.. He is a beast and if healthy he could outscore all RB's ... but better back him up with R. Williams.. Good luck.

  2. Go for Lynch, and then in the beginning of the next round when you pick 3rd go for Moss, if he's still available.

  3. WOW! nice team do Moss

  4. Lynch definately!
