i've run a casual league with my family for a few years and haven't changed much. I'm setting it up again this year and would love opinions and reasons why i might want to change things up. These are the positions i've had in the past:

QB

3 WR

2 RB

TE

K

2 D

2 DB

2 DL

5 BENCH

at max, there will be 8 teams (6 has been the case in past years) Somebody told me that it is better to have 2 QBs and to run more flex positions...what do you all think? appreciate all suggestions...

  1. keep it simple and take off the D,DB,DL AND JUST HAVE A TEAM DEF.

  2. Sounds like you have things under control but I would cut down on the def. players (IDP) and have a few more on the bench.

  3. I'd use a utility spot,or flex position.I like them in baseball and baketball

because they add a degree of strategy...You're not forced to use a particular position,if your loaded in RBs,say, you don't have to waste your 3rd one on the bench.A utility spot is even better, because you could put any position there.~~G{}{}d Luck!
