Fantasy football quarter back question... Warner, Kitna, or Hassleback. who do I start week 1?

warner should have 2 great weeks before he gets his neck broke and done for season, use him first week then trade for great value. then laugh after week 3 because you made the call....

Hasselback has been the most consistent QB out of all of those 3 so I would start him. Who to let go  of will obviously come down to Warner and Kitna. Warner may get pulled if he doesn't play well as Leinart is waiting in the wings. However Kitna does not have Mike Martz anymore who basically was a pass first kind of Offensive Coordinator. Both QB's have terrific WR's so I'd see how they perform the first few weeks, then get rid of the one who isn't playing as well as the other.

If I'm not mistaken, Hasselbeck is coming off a back injury, which pretty much kept him out of the preseason and might affect his timing.  Kurt Warner is only starting because Leinart fell on his face(literally) and isn't 100%.  Kitna, while he does have issues, has a very talented corps of WR's and what is currently a very suspect running game.  Kitna is likely to have to put the ball up early and often.  I would start Kitna.

I would let Warner go in a couple of weeks as he will likely go back to the bench when Leinart is healthy or just get injured himself.  I would hope that he has a great game or two, then try to trade him while he has some value.  Hasselbeck is, as one other answer mentioned, one of the most consistent Fantasy QB's over the last few years.  I have won a championship with him as my main QB.  Kitna was definitely among the second tier QB's the first half of last season, so he does have great upside if you couldn't snag Brady/P. Manning/Romo.
