If i let the computer pick is it going to pick the number 1 player if i get to pick first?

Depending on what site your using, usually its L.T. that is ranked number 1 in most leagues.  Otherwise, I would never let the computer pick, sure it picks the best player available, but sometimes it picks certain positions first.  For example, I've seen in most auto's, the computer picks take TE's in the 5th round even if better players are available.  

So if you can't attend the draft, make sure you rank your players list and if possible, rank what positions should be taken during the draft.  (some sites let you decide what position for round (rb, qb, wr, etc)..

The computer usually picks the best player available based on the Yahoo Rankings, unless you pre-rank your own players. So LT is #1 in Yahoo rankings the computer should auto-pick him first.

There should be a preference list that you can edit so that the cpu can pick from who you ranked.

I would recommend that you do your own picking.  The fantasy draft is one of the very best parts of fantasy sports.  However, I know this is not always possible.  If you are going to let the computer do it for you, I would suggest you prerank your players.  If you don't, you will just get the Yahoo rankings.  The other thing I like to do is remove a whole bunch of people that I don't want to draft.  I have been known to remove every single kicker off my list and then I get a kicker after the draft is over.  Good luck either way.
