Yeah, star wars episodes I through III, just kidding. There are a lot of g*y characters in fantasy movies. Dumbledore is a good example. In the Phillip Pullman novels (his dark materials series) there is a really touching story about two angels that are in love, but the other two movies are unlikely to be made after The Golden Compass didn't do as well as expected in the box office. I think I read somewhere that JRR Tolkien was secretly g*y himself (I'm pretty sure that one of his best friends TS Eliot was too) so maybe the Lord of The Rings IS a good example.
