In the trade I get:

Garrett Atkins

Manny Ramírez

Daisuke Matsuzaka

I give up

David Wright

Joe Nathan

Should I do the trade?? To point out a few things, is atkins maybe woud start over cantu but when chipper comes back from the DL whoever is in that spot will be benched. Lasty yes i do have a lot of good closerss but that is why I win saves and helps me win ERA and WHIP every week. So waht do you think.

  1. Make the deal, you don't have a dominate starting rotation. Atkins just plain knows how to hit and has good plate discipline. Knows how to come through with runners aboard. Daisuke is a smart and competitive strikeout pitcher, he owns fluid mechanics and a wide arsenal--including a plus fastball, curve, slurve, forkball and a 'gyro ball'. Ramirez a phenomenal pure hitter. Owns a rare combination of batting eye, power, patience, and clutch ability. Seems to see things in slow motion and never loses his cool at the dish. I like David Wright but he is prone to streakiness, and tends to start racking up huge strikeout totals when in a funk. Needs to cut down on his error total a little. Nathan is very underrated and needs more credit. Nathan has improved against lefty bats but is still a little more vulnerable against them. Gets into trouble when he fails to throw inside with consistency.

  2. No, I would keep that team.... that is a good team.

  3. I think that this is a very good trade for you.  Your closers are good enough that you dont need Nathan that much, and Daisuke would be a very nice addition to your pitching.  David Wright is a great player, but Garret Atkins isnt a big step down and you are also getting Manny who will most likely to be trying to prove that hes worth trading for.
