  1. If you can read clearly, you should be near-sighted.  That would mean you could see things that are close with clarity, but images get blurry as they are farther away.

If you are indeed near-sighted, you only really need to wear glasses when you are looking far away.  But it's easier just to wear the glasses at all times, whether you're reading or not.

If you were far-sighted, on the other hand, you would only need glasses when you were looking at things that were close, like reading.

I was very near sighted, and could read, but couldn't distinguish the big E at the top of the eye exam.  I had to wear glasses at all times until I had Lasik eye surgery.

  2. well u could use them half the day and if you are have problems then u could rasiae it a hour till it fits they way u want it.

    but thats my opion

  3. You could be nearsighted or farsighted and not be able see distance objects.  If a person is farsighted with moderate amount of astigmatism with it, he/she could have problems seeing distant objects as well as near objects because astigmatism blurs objects at all distances.

I've had a mild/moderate amount of astigmatism in my left eye for several years.  My distance vision in my left is 20/50 because of the astigmatism.  My right eye normal 20/20.

My Dad is mildly farsighted with a moderate amount of astigmatism.  I think he is 20/40 in one eye and 20/50 in the other eye.  He has trouble seeing near objects due to the farsightedness and distance objects because if the astigmatism.

If it is easier to see with your glasses on full time, then wear them full time.  You could also choose to only wear them when needed as well.  It is up to you.
