if you were guy and you could save five books which ones would you choose i have to do this project and tell why the books would help the future

LuthienT, I'd have to disagree with you on those, you seem intent on saving books that have lessons that humanity can learn from rather than entertainment. I think the Bible more or less covers what we should and shouldn't do and you don't need any other books to prove a certain point. I would save:

Twilight

New Moon

Eclipse

Breaking Dawn

The Host

Hahah Just kidding, I would actually save:

The Holy Bible

The Lord of the Rings

The Chronicles of Narnia (c'mon, we have to save something for our kids)

1984

Something from Tonybee or another historian, so we don't forget our past.

The Bible - for moral and spiritual values

1984 so the public would understand the dangers of subversion

The Scarlett Letter to understand other people and the dangers of bigotry.

To Kill a Mockingbird or The Color Purple to encourage anti-racism.

Something else for entertainment ...

pretty much any book from the past,

a book that would teach people.

and/or classics.

example:

the color purple.
