Farley Frost to steer the Owners’ Bonus Series – Heat 1 at Peterborough
Peterborough will stage the Grade A4 Owners’ Bonus Series – Heat 1 over 420 metres flat on Wednesday, 30th May. Up for the challenge today are Nascopi Brave, Bushido Blade, Duke Box Jura, Charlie Wobbler, Viceroy and Farley Frost.
Highly likely to win today is Farley Frost, Ballymac Maeve’s three-year-old son out of b***h, Nasty Woman. He started off by ending fourth in a Grade A2 420 metres flat race on 2nd January.
The race was won by the 7/4 favourite, Crack Out Bubbly, who timed the track distance in 25.94 seconds and led the runner up of the race, Seanthesheepdog, by four lengths.
The next five races remained uneventful as all of them were failures.
Farley Frost then won a Grade A4 420 metres flat race on 18th February at Peterborough by reaching the other end of the wire in 26.03 seconds. He left the runner up of the race, Ballymac Cherry, adrift by 2 ¼ lengths.
Taking up the third position was the 5/4 favourite of the race, Bushido Blade.
He then qualified as the runner up in a Grade A4 420 metres flat on 22nd February at Peterborough after racing for 25.79 seconds. He was entered as the evening’s favourite and joined the winner, Katies Snow, who raced across the wire in 25.79 seconds.
Excelling for a second time during the new season, Farley Frost won a Grade A4 420 metres flat race at Peterborough. The 6/4 favourite of the race clocked the track distance in 25.93seconds. Finishing the closest was Shes A Rocket.
Coming at terms with the third position was White Kelami.
Once again the three-year-old suffered a drought that this time ended after an unlucky six races. Eventually he bagged the most recent outing of the season.
P. Ward’s under charge won the Grade A4 the Complete I.T. Stakes on 25th May at Peterborough over 420 metres. He was done racing in 26.07 seconds and led the runner up, Bushido Blade, by a length.
He will need to look out for Charlie Wobbler who has been successful recently and might just want to make tonight’s race a reason for celebration.
