Farloe Ashes gets the best odds for Owlerton Bookmakers Sprint

Farloe Ashes has been given the best odds for The Owlerton Bookmakers Sprint at Sheffield in England on Tuesday, March 13, 2012. The cash award for the winning greyhound will be £200.
The Grade OR event, scheduled to start at 19:27 GMT, will see six quality runners in action and their names are: Farloe Ashes, Swabys Tony, Mottos Blue, Boyneside Banty, Brave Display and Droopys Peaches.
Although the bookmakers have shown faith in the abilities of Farloe Ashes, he might not be able to deliver the expected result, as he lacks race practice. However, he has been setting some decent trial times at different venues, which indicates that he will
give a tough time to the rest of the participants.
P. Curtin’s trainee last raced in December, 2011, but failed to make an impression. He was the least favourite to win that race and did not pull off anything special in the end, finishing at the tail of the chart. He did manage to have a clear run, but made
quite a few mistakes, which kept him way behind the rest of the pack.
The punters will be hesitant in placing bets on Farloe Ashes, as he might struggle to win in this class. The blue and fawn dog is the son of Ballymac Maeve out of Final Pearl and was born in September 2009.
One hound, who has better chances of winning the race, is Swabys Tony. He is in good shape at the moment and has been racing quite regularly in this class. His last five outings proved to be very good, as he managed to win a couple of them.
In his most recent outing, Swabys Tony managed to finish runner up by just a neck distance. He was not the favourite to win, but displayed decent speed and almost managed to win. He was a little wide at the start of the race, which cost him some crucial
time. However, his trainer, P. Young, will be expecting him to deliver a winning performance today.
The fawn dog is the son of Ballymac Maeve out of Speak Out Amy and was born in June 2009.
Mottos Blue, Boyneside Banty, Brave Display and Droopys Peaches do not seem to be in good form at the moment and they will have to be at their absolute best in order to challenge the front runners.
