Farloe Can Do to retain form for bagging the Banks’s Bitter Stakes at Monmore on 19th April
The Grade A1 Banks’s Bitter Stakes will be hosted by Monmore over 480 metres flat on Thursday, 19th April. The £161 prize money has attracted Farloe Can Do, Wally Billy, Cerrise, Emirates Classic, Newmac Boss and Monkspath Azluke.
Farloe Can Do, Hondo Black’s five-year-old black son out of b***h, Farloe Signal, has raced seven times during the new season and has bagged two starts.
On 6th January, Farloe Can Do was trained through 480 metres at Monmore, a trip that he completed in 28.89 seconds. His seasonal debut was in the Grade A2 Romeo American – 4 Wins In A Row on 19th January at Monmore. The 5/2 favourite
of the race timed the distance in 29.29 seconds while the winner, Tyrur Denis, managed the distance in 28.99 seconds.
Boherna Bridge qualified as the runner up and Gagsys Classic took up the third slot.
His debut success of the season was in a Grade A3 480 metres flat at Monmore on 1st March. He clocked the track distance in 28.62 seconds and was entered as the 7/4 favourite of the race. Joining the winner after racing for 28.94 seconds and leaping
through the four lengths was Cerrise.
Lodgeview Rikijo settled third behind the winner.
Not being able to hold on to consistency, Farloe Can Do secured the second position in the Grade A2 Sophie Saywell 18th Birthday Stakes on 10th March at Monmore after timing the trip in 28.64 seconds. The 5/4 favourite winner of the
race, Vedfield Solid, covered the track distance in 28.58 seconds.
Leaping on for the second position was Dereks Blueboy.
Farloe Can Do bagged yet another second score through the sixth start of the season on 15th March in the Ladbrokes.Com 630 at Monmore, missing the victory by 7 ¾ lengths. Filling up the third slot was Ministry Millie and following her was the
4/5 favourite of the race, Aero Majestic.
Finally the second triumph of the season surfaced on 7th April in a Grade A2 480 metres flat at Monmore after Farloe Can Do had raced for 28.91 seconds. The 5/4 favourite led the runner up of the race, Tyrur Denis, by one and a half lengths.
Coming at terms with the third position was Townspark Eric.
