Farloe Hatton and Lujiana favourite for the Grade A2 race at Perry Barr
Farloe Hatton and Lujiana are joint favourites for the Grade A2, 480 metres greyhound race at Perry Barr in England on Sunday, February 19, 2012. The cash prize for winning the flat race is £67.
The bookmakers have awarded both favourite greyhounds with a starting price of 3 to 1. Farloe Hatton, trained b C. Weatherall, has the experience of all conditions, as he has been racing for quite some time.
The black dog has got a couple of victories in his last five outings, which also indicates that he has a very good chance winning today. His last race was also an impressive one, where he was not the favourite to win.
Despite that, the seasoned runner did a pretty decent job and ended up on top, leaving the rest of the pack way behind. He is the son of Hondo Black out of Farloe Reserve and was born in December 2006.
The joint favourite for today’s race, Lujiana, has the best chances of winning today. She has been in excellent form over the past few months and has been delivering consistent results recently.
N. Slowley’s trained b***h has a couple of victories to her name in the previous five races. Other than that, she has also finished as runner up twice. Consistency is her key weapon and that will definitely attract the punters towards investing money on
her.
The white and blue coloured b***h is the daughter of Westmead Hawk out of Fadides Beauty and was born in September 2009.
Nobodys Pet, trained by S. Ralph, can also pull off a surprise today. She has been given a starting price of 7 to 2, but her performances in recent times are really impressive. However, she has been moved to an upper grade, which will change the level of
competitiveness for her.
Nobodys Pet was born in September 2007 and is the daughter of Droopys Scolari out of Joemurphy Spirit.
Another b***h, entering the race with a starting price of 7 to 2 is, Tybar Ellie. She has got a pretty decent record and the bettors will be interested in investing on her.
B. Denby’s trained b***h is the daughter of Farloe Reason out of Ellies Express and was born in July 2010.
The least favourite greyhounds to win today are Daisyfield Betty and Pieball Nolan. They will need a clean run today in order to make an impression at Perry Barr.
Overall, the competition will be quite an interesting one. The favourites will not be able to take the medals away easily, as the rest of the participants are also very much impressive.
