Farloe Tango hot favourite to win the Betfred ´The Bonus King´ Puppy Standard
Farloe Tango is expected to dominate proceedings in the Grade OR, £150 Betfred ´The Bonus King´ Puppy Standard at Nottingham in England on Monday, July 2, 2012.
The 500 metres flat race is scheduled to start at 21:37 GMT and a total of six quality hounds will be seen in action.
However, no one seems to be in a position to match the skills of Farloe Tango, who is in spectacular form at the moment. The punters will definitely be risking the maximum number of bets on him, and the bookmakers have also shown full faith in him.
The C. Lister’s trainee has participated in just six Grade OR events until now, which shows that he is not much experienced.
However, that does not matter much, as he has been victorious in all those races, and will be chasing a seventh straight win in the OR category today.
Hondo Black’s son, out of Farloe Oyster, debuted in February this year, and has been dominant since then. He took part in a few trial runs at the start of his career, and his performances in them were enough to prove that he had the ability to compete at the highest level.
The black dog took part in his first Grade OR event on 9th April, 2012. He was rated as the favourite to win back then, but did not find things to be easy at all.
There was a lot of pressure on him, and luck did not seem to be in his favour, as he got crowded on several occasions. Despite that, he got the lead before crossing the finish line and won by a narrow margin of half-length.
This was just a start to a dominant career, as Farloe Tango kept on winning more races with the passage of time. He was brilliant in his most recent Grade OR outing, and managed to finish on top of the table, despite his unfavourable odds.
The young runner was crowded in that race as well, but that did not stop him from keeping his 100 percent winning record intact. He will once again be a force to reckon with at Nottingham today.
