Farloe Tendulkar, the leading prospect for the Grays Hound-Rosie Lowe’s 60th Stakes at Monmore
The Grade A1 Grays Hound-Rosie Lowe’s 60th Stakes will see Cape Maldini, Aulton Leo, Farloe Tendulkar, Sportium Rozas, Marazion Magic and Townspark Eric competing. The race will be held at Monmore over 480 metres flat on Saturday, 12th May and has the prize money set at £161.
The race will find Farloe Tendulkar and Sportium Rozas in close contention. The credentials for both the entries are quite very impressive but the more reliable candidate is Farloe Tendulkar who has bagged the seasonal hat trick lately.
Royal Impact’s two-year-old black and white son out of b***h, Farloe Peejay, started off with racing just this season. The trainer K. Billingham, drilled the under charge twice before setting him loose on the track.
His initial training was on 2nd April at Peterborough over 420 metres that he timed in 25.79 seconds and then took 29.11 seconds to complete the 480 metres’ trip at Monmore on 10th April.
The two-year-old capitalised on his very first three races for bagging the seasonal hat trick. His initial success was in a 480 metres race at Monmore on 17th April. He reached the other end of the wire in 29.24 seconds and led the runner up of the race, Saleen Bongo, by 3 ¼ lengths.
Three days down the line, the K. Billingham trained raced in another 480 metres’ race at Monmore and settled the distance in 29.07 seconds. The runner up, Big Alf, missed the race by 2 ¼ lengths.
Farloe Tendulkar’s third try of the season was in a Grade A2 480 metres flat at Monmore on 26th April. He set the 11/4 favourite of the race, Sportium Rozas, second after timing the track distance in 28.97 seconds.
Concluding the race third after taking 29.13 seconds to clock the track distance was Walkaway Tyson.
Within some ten days, from 17th April to 26th April, Farloe Tendulkar got entitled to a hat trick.
His fourth outing of the season was not as pleasing because he ended fourth in a Grade A1 480 metres flat at Monmore on 5th May. The race was won by the 9/4 favourite, Vedfield Solid, who completed the trip in 28.70 seconds.
Today Farloe Tendulkar has to undertake the fifth venture of the season and getting blown off after the extraordinary accomplishment will prompt him to claim the race tonight.
