Farloe Warhawk likely to dominate the Owlerton Bookmakers Puppy Standard
Farloe Warhawk is likely to dominate proceedings in Owlerton Bookmakers Puppy Standard at Sheffield in England on Tuesday, March 13, 2012. The winner of the 500 metres flat race will bag a cash prize of £200.
The Grade OR event is scheduled to start at 19:11 GMT and the six entries confirmed for it are: Farloe Warhawk, Rockburst Pearl, Dacent Joker, Drumcrow Jet, Stoneys Rocket and Viking Cheryl.
B. Draper’s trained hound, Farloe Warhawk, seems to be unmatchable at the moment. He has never been defeated in his career so far and the bookmakers expect him to continue the same dominance at Sheffield.
The black dog set an impressive trial time in his most recent outing at Sheffield and he appears to be in great momentum right now. Other than that, his race performances have also be quite spectacular, as he managed to win them comprehensively.
In his most recent race in this class, Farloe Warhawk managed to win by more than five lengths. He was expected to be dominant and did not disappoint his fans at all, winning the 480 metres long race comfortably. He led from the start and did not allow anyone
else to catch him.
The punters will almost be certain that Farloe Warhawk will win today’s event comfortably, thus they will not be risking any money against him. It will be a courageous move by any of them, who decides to bet on any other greyhound’s victory.
Today’s favourite hound is the son of Ace Hi Rumble out of Wont Be Long and was born in September 2010.
Rockburst Pearl, trained by M. Dartnall, will be the only runner who can cause a few problems for the race favourite. She has been in decent form over the past few months and seems to be in good shape. However, things will not be easy for her, as she will
have to fight against a top class opponent.
The black b***h has managed to win a couple of races in her past five outings, which indicates that she is in good rhythm. Her last run did not prove to be an ideal one though, as she finished fifth in it.
Considering the current stats, it seems almost impossible for the rest of the participants to challenge the top two favourites, especially Farloe Warhawk, who has been unbeaten in his career until now.
