Farm Chemicals - Sounds like C.B. Gygie?

I'm trying to look up a company that makes farm chemicals... herbicides / pesticides / etc. And I've only heard the name so I can't figure out how it's written to look it up. It sounds like C.B. Gygie, or some variation of that. Any ideas?

  1. The name of the company you are looking for is Ciba-Geigy; however, I am not sure they if they are still in the business of producing agricultural chemicals.  A link is provided to direct you to a website discussing a chemical cleanup of a former plant owned by Ciba-Geigy.

  2. The name is Ciba-Geigy.

    That company is no longer in the business under that name.

    It merged with DuPont first, then their name changed to Novartis and now is called Syngenta.
