  1. farmed fish have the same diet everyday of their lives, versus fish from the sea are able to change their diet depending upon what they can find

  2. farmed fish dosen't have more space to explore and free caught fish is from the wild and it has more space and it will find good stuff from the sea to eat which makes the body/skin purer and taste better

  3. EXCELLENT QUESTION!  Farm raised fish are fed feed as well as antibiotics and in teh case of salmon they are fed dyes to give them the salmon color. They are also raised in pools with a very high density of fish and are exposed to pollutants ans well as f***s from other fish etc. Ocean caught fish have a varied diet and are not fed chemicals etc.  Ocean caught fish (especially salmon) haev much higher omega 3 contents. (Google Tilapia and health, tilapia is farm raised and is worse for you than bacon).

Also, go to a whole foods or oraganic store and try the chicken and a variatey ov veggies vs. those from a cheap place. Huge difference in taste

  4. free caught

  5. farmed fish live a boring life of swiming around eating and reproducing, the fish in the sea has to survive in a world of predators and new enviroments  that leads to its different taste

  6. Salt.

When you buy a fish, they clean it completely so it tastes like nothing.

When you season the bought fish, it tastes somewhat better since seasonings contain salt.

When you cook a caught fish, the salt water + seasonings help bring out the taste a lot more.

  7. The wild fish have a different and a varied diet that is natural and filled with healthy nutrition.
